Don’t forget the laundry room!
 One of the mostly poorly designed areas in the home is typically the laundry room. If your laundry room is large enough, add that cabinet storage and a large counter space to fold clothing. If you are lucky enough to have one of those laundry tub sinks on legs, consider dropping the sink into a countertop with cabinetry for storage beneath it. Also available are jetted laundry sinks to help with hand-washing items. Place cabinetry above the washer and dryer, leaving the area above the sink to place a hanging rod for air-drying items you’ve just hand-washed. Consider adding a space in the cabinetry for a TV if it’s your preference to watch TV while folding laundry. You may want to add storage for ironing, crafts, gift wrapping, a place to repot plants, store dry goods, and an additional refrigerator or freezer area.
